Black Diamond
The G4 is the newest member of the ReedGeek Universal family. It utilizes state of the art, 100% USA alloy with very high vanadium carbide content for exceptionally good wear resistance. With our beautiful “Black Diamond” wear finish fostering a smooth “buttery” glide to the cut, the G4 excels on both natural cane and all synthetic reeds. Exciting features include a newly designed length with a comfortably rounded back scraper (for further adjustment options), a radius tip for precision work and two contoured and curved rail bevels (specially designed to profile rails and re-contour the spine & heart of both single and double reeds). With advanced profiling abilities such as these, the G4 is a must for every serious reed player!
Staff Review
A small but very useful tool! I bought one of these because I discovered the benefits of flattening the backs of reeds, which allows for a much better seal with the mouthpiece table. Originally I was doing this with fine grit sandpaper, but the ReedGeek allows you to do this much more precisely without taking too much material away from the reed.
Getting the hang of using it did take me a bit of time though, so I would highly recommend watching a few tutorials. Fortunately there are plenty of videos and other tips available for free at www.reedgeek.com
Whilst you may ruin a few reeds in the early stages of using the ReedGeek (I certainly did!), before long you'll be getting a lot more longevity out of them. Even reeds that would have otherwise ended up straight in the bin! - Oren Gurney (oren@sax.co.uk)

RETURNS
Goods purchased online from www.sax.co.uk can be returned within 14 days of receipt. This does not apply to custom ordered goods, products where hygiene is concerned and product seals have been broken (reeds, mouthpieces etc), digital download codes or software licences. Goods purchased through our website cannot be returned to our retail stores.
