Sax.co.uk Recommends

The weight of the saxophone is evenly distributed over the shoulder and across the back, which eliminates neck fatique. It's an ideal strap for individuals with neck problems. This neoprene shoulder sling gives the performer more freedom of movement while continuing to offer Neotech's patented weight reduction system. The saxophone feels 50% lighter and 100% more comfortable. Give it a try!

"Nice idea but not for me"
TomSk
I tried this strap as I had a neck problem earlier last year and wanted something to relieve the weight on my neck from bari and tenor sax. I wanted to like this sling but the negative points for me were: in use I found that the shoulder pad tended to creep towards the crook of my neck/shoulder, and as the edge of the neoprene is unfinished this quite quickly led to some rubbing discomfort on the skin of my neck - this was when wearing a T-shirt, probably would be helped by wearing a collared shirt but I didnt try that and wouldnt always want to have to do that. The other thing was that I tend to hold my sax more central and out in front of my body, whilst the sling tends to place the strap ring close to the body and towards the right side - as I consequence I had the feeling of having to push the instrument outwards to compensate, and my thumb was taking more weight. So for me the sling didnt achieve what Id hoped. Sizing - the Regular has a maximum loop circumference of around 108cm/42.5in, which was literally just enough for me, so the XL would have been the better choice for me. Im L to XL size in tops so Id suggest the XL size if youre that sort of size or above.
