Key Leaves Sax Key Props
Tired of sticky G#? Here is the solution! At last, a modern and stylish product that prevents sticky pads and at the same time increases airflow to the saxophone body and key pads, decreasing bacterial growth that rots your sax and endangers health! Works for Alto, tenor, bari and bass sax!
Key Leaves help you safely leave keys open to dry, stopping sticky saxophone pads including the notorious sticky G#, C# and Eb. After playing, simply slide the leaf-shape props under the key arms of Eb and Low C# to open those pads to air dry. Because low C# is linked with G#, the two leaf-shape props stop the three stickiest sax keys. The flexible silicone leaf shape fits all alto, tenor, bari sax, bass sax, and c-melody saxophones!
• Stop sticky sax keys and reduce repair with Key Leaves.
• Proven to Totally Eliminate severe key sticking and reduce all other sticky sax keys by 98% – Key Leaves patented sax care products are the best way to stop sticky saxophone keys.
• Key Leaves products increase airflow to the saxophone body and key pads, decreasing growth of bacteria, yeast, virus and fungus that rots your sax and endangers health.
• No messy pad powders, chemicals, liquids or wasteful disposables. Key Leaves offers the most effective & natural saxophone care.
*Some early vintage saxes allow use for only two keys at a time.
When I met Rulon out at the 2018 NAMM music show and saw first-hand his inventions being demonstrated, I realised that this simple and neat idea was going to rock the saxophone world! Okay, it won’t make you sound like John Coltrane, but what it WILL do is remove the fear that your pads are going to stick exactly when you don’t need them to! I also found his evidence completely compelling in terms of just how much bacterial and fungal growth can build up in sax not properly cared for. By simply inserting the Sax Key Props into the Low Eb and C# key arms, which takes about 10 seconds (or 3 if you are Rulon!) you immediately allow the air to flow straight through these troublesome areas where moisture would normally settle and start creating all sorts of harmful health scenarios! Just think, if we all had one of these, we could be much healthier sax players! One little device, and it solves two problems immediately! Jim Cheek
