Gold lacquered brass with hand engraving. Low Bb to high F#. Sounds powerful without being edgy - we like it!

Supplied with good quality hard case, strap and ebonite mouthpiece

Features:

Teflon octave system

Both ends of the octave key axis rotate in a receptacle that is coated with teflon to insure a smooth operation every time

Rocking table mechanism

The C# and Bb keys have a rocking table mechanism that allows for optimal speed and fluidity between these pitches

Double connected table key

Not only are the C# and Bb keys connected with the oscillating table mechanism, but the C# and B have also adopted this same motion

"Indented" white shell keys

A player's fingers will rest comfortably in the indented white shell keys. The white shells also enhance the beauty of the instrument while also preventing the player's fingers from slipping during technical passages

Metal thumb rests

Both thumb rests on the saxophone are metal to match with the style of the saxophone and the right hand thumb hook is adjustable so that the performer can customize the feel of their saxophone

Pointed pivot screw

The pivot screws that are used have a pointed end which facilitates an accurate center and precise action

Metal resonator

The metal resonators give clarity to the sound of the instrument in all dynamic ranges

Air-tight waterproof pad

The pads are completely air-tight which supports stability in playing and their life is extended thanks to being waterproof

Blue steel springs

Blue steel springs give the player quick response and are much more resilient than stainless steel (they also last much longer)

    "Best Curved Soprano Ever Made"
    John
This is truly the best curved soprano saxophone ever made and instantly feels right in my hands, easy blowing, very strong and stable mechanics, and you have a lot of control over sound you can make it darker, bright, or somewhere in the middle. I can hit a high E on the Selmer series II soprano and and Eb on the series III but I can play the high F

    "The Amazing SC991"
    Yanagisawa Sax Man
This sax is amazing. It has amazing intonation, fantastic ergonomics, and a very clear tone. It is amazing. It is such a high quality and is a real value for the money. You should buy a Brancher Strip Strap Size S for it, but If you cannot find one, a BG Nylon for curved soprano works fine as well. I always use my trusty Jody Jazz HR* 6 or 6* with RSJ Filed reeds and a rico h ligature. Definitely get this sax, it is absolutely amazing.
