Just wanted to let you know that our sax arrived this morning- less than a
week from when I ordered it! We couldn't have got one from our local music
store as fast as that. We are very impressed with the professional service
right from the start to the final delivery. There is always a degree of
nervousness when buying something from overseas and over the internet so I
was relieved and impressed by sax.co.uk and will recommend you to anyone I
know looking for a sax. We actually saved a substantial amount by buying the
sax from you. Funnily enough the sax was processed at your end by 'Bill' and
our son Billy will be playing it! Anyway we just wanted to say a really big
THANK YOU. Yours Sincerely, Susan Kilbride
(Australia)
Thank you for allowing us to try
nine different alto saxes before deciding on the Yamaha Custom YAS 875ES, it
was great to have plenty of time to decide on the right classical sax, and
to be among people who eat drink and sleep saxophones. Will has hardly put
it down in 6 days, the advice and support we had was invaluable, would urge
anyone looking for a new instrument to make the pilgrimage to Crowborough!

Subject: Yamaha YAS62
The Yamaha YAS 62 Alto I ordered from you on Monday arrived the following
day. Many thanks for your fast service and help. My son’s music teacher
did a double take when she saw the sax and was astonished by the price;
she had recently bought a YAS 475 for her son for £875 and thought she cut
a great deal. In our local music shop, the YAS 475 is on special offer. At
£1,275. More importantly, the YAS 62 sounds just fantastic. My son has
astonished me with his abilities to make the ‘horn’ sing. He is only 11,
but he just plays it. His few weeks on a YAS 23, with a ‘not right for a
young mouth’ metal Brancher on it, has paid off. A 4C mouthpiece is, he
says, much easier to control and less tiring. But the Brancher is greased
and ready to swap when he wants to make a ‘jazzier’ sound. Indulgent
parents make me sick, but I believe a good teacher and a great instrument
are the best ways to get a child started. Grade 4 clarinet in the summer
and, to my surprise, straight in for Grade 3 sax. If he keeps playing in
20 years time, I know he will still have a great sax in the YAS 62. So
that makes it a real bargain in my book. As to the YAS 23, that is now
mine and I love it. No F# key, but it will be a long time before I can
play anything that needs to go that high! Thanks and best wishes, James de
Havilland

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to drop you a quick line to say that my Yamaha 475 tenor
arrived promptly last Friday, the day after I place my order, and is
everything I had hoped for! Sorry for the delay in contacting you but
I've spent all my spare time in the last week disturbing the
neighbours! Amongst all the books and accessories I have bought from
you, this is now the second Sax I have had from you guys, and as
ever the service is second to none!! I wouldn't consider going anywhere
else for anything Sax related, and cannot recommend your company highly
enough. Keep up the good work! Best regards David Howe

Just to let you know that everything has arrived safely. The packing was a work
of art in itself and I am thrilled to bits with the contents. I have my first
lesson with Tash Wilson a week on Sunday! Incidentally her husband highly
recommended you and said that they got all their gear from you. As I had already
placed my order with you, I was very pleased to hear that. Thanks for your
advice and for your excellent service. Best wishes Dorothea

Hi! No help required, but I just thought that
I’d drop you an email to say very many thanks for the (very) prompt delivery of
my YTS275 this week, and with a further reduction on what I had thought was a
very competitive price already! Excellent service!

Just writing to let you know that my `62 arrived this afternoon and I've
thoroughly enjoyed the few hours I've spent playing it tonight. Thank you for
bringing this model to my attention - it was a very good recommendation, backed
up by lots of research I did before buying. I'm also very pleased with the
helpful, friendly and efficient service I got from sax.co.uk, something I will
be sure to make mention of to my sax friends. Happy Christmas! Mike.

Subject: Another testimonial...YAS82Z in blacl lacquer
My friend and I travelled
down to East Sussex to your shop on Saturday 8th October, 2005.
I wanted to buy either a professional alto or a tenor sax. Given your
extensive range, I wanted to try out as many as possible within my price
range. When we arrived we were met by Jim Cheek. We were made to feel
incredibly welcome. Jim could not do enough for us… He allowed me to try
out several different models in one of the two music rooms available in
the shop. Jim offered expert advice and discussed my requirements with me
thoroughly. He gave me ample opportunity to make a decision… he was always
available to answer queries but was not at all ‘pushy’. In the end I
settled for a Custom Yamaha YAS82-Z with black lacquer. I am thrilled with
this! Sadly it is all too rare to come across good service in Britain
these days. So it was a pleasure to receive absolutely first class service
from
www.saxophones.co.uk. I cannot recommend this company highly enough!
It was an extremely long journey to East Sussex from Birmingham, where I
live, but it was completely worth the effort. Rest assured that after my
experience today, I would not consider going anywhere else for my sax
requirements! Many thanks and please pass on my special thanks to Jim for
his kindness and superb attention. Best wishes, Dr. Brian Levy

Just
a few lines to thank you. More traders like you needed in this world.
Arrived home and could not wait to try
the new Yamaha YTS 875 II. It is just sheer glory. Although I’m a beginner,
I could immediately get the lower notes out with ease, and the higher notes
now come in rich and crisp. What a difference, it makes me feel like a
virtuoso. The new mouthpiece fits me a lot better too. Your help is truly
appreciated, and I could not be happier. I look forward to a long business
relationship, and I will have no hesitation recommending you to any future
costumers. Many Thanks. Kind regards, Ivan Garcia

The Yamaha YSS475 Soprano Saxophone you sent me arrived in Dublin last
Thursday, so it took less than two days, Collected Tuesday 3pm and delivered
on Thursday 9.30am. I have been playing it ever since and I used it on it's
first gig on Monday night in Dublin. It sounds great and is quite easy to
play. I previously used an Earlham Curved Soprano but this machine is in a
different league. Tuning was always the problem with the Earlham and I
needed to compensate while playing it. No such problems with the Yamaha.
Anyway I just thought I better let you know it got here and I'm very happy
with it. Extend my gratitude to all the gang as I found your team to be most
efficient and friendly, something that is sadly lacking in so many
businesses nowadays.
Many thanks again, Aidan. (Ireland)

I thought I'd drop you a note to tell you that I received my soprano today
and it plays great, the intonation is spot on and it sounds amazing. This
is my third sax I've bought from you and I'm sure that if I ever save up
enough money for a baritone I'll know where to come, but I can't promise
it'll be any time soon! My thanks to you all for your help, advice and
making good quality saxophones affordable. Kind regards, Allan Glen

in no time at all - the next day after you shipped it. Unbelievable! My son
hasn't ok'd my playing it yet, but it has a very nice sound for him right out of
the box with the Yamaha mouthpiece. Great, simple transaction. You are the best!

Hi to everyone at saxophones.co.uk !!
Just thought that I would drop you a short line of testimony. Having vacillated
for a few months, ( can sax players use big words!!) I decided to take the
plunge and order a new Yamaha YAS 62 over the phone, in time for my 25 wedding
anniversary, and yes i know you only get 15 for murder! and for those who are
interested my wife had jewellery, poor substitute for a sax don't you think.
Anyway I ordered on the Thursday, and to my great delight I received my
beautiful saxophone on the Friday. It is fantastic, it blows a dream and even
makes me sound good, which is a miracle as my wife, children and cat can
testify to. Once again many thanks for the great service the great sax, and
last but not least the great price many thanks, yours, Steve Daniels

I received my horn last week. The service was fast and the prices were great. On top of that, the YAS62 is a horn with accurate intonation and an absolutely beautiful sound which is a great improvement over my student model. Personally, I think that right now it's the best value for a pro horn in town. Thanks
saxophones.co.uk for your friendly service and I'm sure I'll be coming back for other saxophone needs. As far as any out there looking to buy a horn who may be a little skeptical...read all of the emails please. The prices are great, horns are great, and the
service is great so be sure to take advantage.
