Review

The Trevor James Horn is the most popular student sax in the history of Sax.co.uk, and deservedly. It's a great sax - not great compared with a Selmer but great in that it has given an ideal start to thousands of new sax players around the World. It just ticks all the boxes and ensures you make a great start to playing the sax. Few things annoy me more than poor quality instruments that effectively put people off playing. Save yourself the heartache and get started on a Trevor James sax. Phill (Sax.co.uk)

    "Great beginners sax"
    David
Im nearing the end of a three month hire with this instrument. I wasnt expecting perfection at this price, but an entirely usable and serviceable instrument. My teacher (whos got literally 50 years head start on me playing the sax) considers the lower register to get progressively out of tune - though Ive found it does get better as the instrument warms up. Has needed a couple of tiny adjustments to better suit my playing style but worked fine from the outset. Go...glad I got it? Absolutely - blows cleanly all the way to the bottom. Recommend it? Yep - as a beginners instrument.
