A Revolutionary New Saxophone
After 5  years of extensive research and development, we have crafted a unique and revolutionary new saxophone. The instrument boast three (3) US patents. Instead of "modifying and copying" existing designs, we started with a clean slate. Once we had our prototypes in hand, we then took the instruments to professional players, students, repair technicians, and band directors for evaluation. We analyzed each and every comment and suggestion concerning likes and dislikes of the instruments and made the appropriate modifications. The end result of this exhaustive research is an extremely versatile and durable saxophone that has incredible tone and quality. US Patented ScrewLess Pin Design
 The Stephanhöuser patented ScrewLess system is a unique system that uses no pivot screws in the posts rods. We have developed an extremely secure stainless steel  spring loaded system that virtually eliminates sloppy mechanism due to wear. Repair techs love the ease of servicing. Available on SAS 1000 and SAS 1500 series altos.		 US Patented One Piece Bow
 Stephanhöuser has developed a patented procedure that allows us to produce a bow that is manufactured with one piece of bell brass. This gives this portion of the instrument much more strength and resonating qualities. Available on SAS 1000 and SAS 1500 series		 US Patented Octave Key Design
 We have also developed a patented neck key and pivot design. This normally vulnerable and critical component is rock solid and precise on the Stephanhöuser  SAS 1000 and SAS 1500 series.		 Unique Key and Button Design
 All Stephanhöuser saxophones boast  power forged keys and "retro" styled key buttons. These buttons are machined from solid bell brass and are individually contoured for exact finger placement. Available on all Stephanhöuser Saxophones
