The ultimate sax for anyone who dreams of playing a Solid Silver Selmer (Paris) saxophone.

The most luxurious tenor saxophone money can buy.

Probably the World's most popular professional saxophone, made in the most famous saxophone factory.

Description

The SERIES III saxophone goes on writing the story of the Selmer Sound: free and centered, the instrument is wonderful to play. It responds to the slightest breath or tongue modulation so that you can really express your personality. Some new features such as the double C# mechanism help create stable overall tuning and a well-balanced high register.

A little less reserved than the Super Action 80 Series II with a more sophisticated keying mechanism and improved intonation make the Series III a popular choice for classical players and those looking for a slightly funkier response.

This latest Jubilee model features a redesigned bell to bow brace & octave key, and some beautiful delicate floral engraving that wraps around the bell and incorporates the Henri Selmer signature.

A truly stunning sax made from solid silver with gold lacquer keywork. The silver has a coating of clear lacquer to help maintain

"Expensive but worth it"

Ive had the sterling silver Selmer Serie III for quite a few years now, and thank goodness I didnt pay current prices. But I am still in love with it, having had a Mk VI and various others before. The Silver Serie III is an absolute joy to play - wonderful bottom notes from a whisper to full power and excellent tuning all the way up. Its enormously flexible from a flute-like whisper to a big band punch. Most saxes have their own tone and their own sound. The real point about this sax is that it does exactly what you tell it. That has its drawbacks, because if you play it badly it will tell the world what you just did. Once you get it right youll wonder why anyone plays anything else. OK, its the money...
