Selmer (Paris) offer two different
professional soprano saxes,
the Super Action 80 Series II and the Series III.
Utilizing
two distinctly different bore designs and tone hole configurations, these
sopranos each play with their own unique voice.
The Series II soprano has a single tube construction (without detachable neck) so there is no interruption in the air flow, a design which is increasingly popular as it reduces resistance.
The Series III soprano has interchangeable straight and curved necks to vary the instrument’s balance and resistance. It also features a high G key.
Necks: Each Series III is supplied with one straight and one curved neck to help you find the ideal playing position and sound option.
High G: Series III has a high G key located above the high F sharp key.
Metal thumb rest: New 'thin' design improves acoustic qualities and comfort.
S80 mouthpiece included.
