Selmer (Paris) Series 2 Tenor

The Super Action 80 series 2 has exceptional acoustic features: unrivalled tuning across the range, an open and rich sound, presence and great projection power.

What we say: - "This is the choice of many professional sax players throughout the world. It allows the sax player to really come through and the sound it delivers is very clear and warm. It possesses a very comfortable action and it is easy to find your way around the instrument. Our resident saxophonist Steve Birtwistle plays the Series II and although he raves about many of the saxophones in our showroom, he would not swap his saxophone for any of them. "I have grown into my Selmer and it seems to be getting better with age. The quality of this horn is superb and I find it incredibly versatile for any style of music". It is a little more reserved than the Series 3 and has a very mature sound. We like it!"

I would happy for you to use me as a reference. You provided the instrument as requested and did so very quickly. The international shipping was no different from my perspective than if it were shipped from Kansas. It came in two days. I appreciate also that you answered all my questions quickly, of which I had many. This new silver Selmer Series II, is a beautiful instrument, and my son says "It plays like heaven". I can tell the difference in the smoothness of the changes of notes and also how much less effort it takes him to hit high and low notes. Feel free to share this e-mail as well or refer anyone who wishes a reference to me by e-mail at
lperez@rts.edu
Thank you so much again.
