20.4.06 Funky/jazzy female tenor/alto sax player based in London, experienced (tours, recording and the odd bit of TV work, etc) looking to play in any setup, preferably a modern big band or large-ish funk band as that's my thing!  Would also consider teaming up with a Pat Metheny-style guitarist to do creative fusion projects as I love writing and recording my own stuff too.  Playing-wise I'm into the black US players such as Ronnie Laws, Grover Washington, Wilton Felder, Gerald Albright, David Sanborn (hold on - he's not black!).  Ultimately looking for paying gigs and professional bands, not just for fun (although fun is the most important thing of course!).  Email me at josax@tiscali.co.uk.
