12.05.08 Young Kent based alto / tenor / soprano saxophonist. I'm almost 16; been playing Alto for almost 6 years, Tenor for 2 years, Soprano for 2 and a half years. I have achieved a high merit at grade 7. Since new years eve I have been the sax player with a rock and roll / covers band called The Management, which is paid work. I also play with Kent Youth Jazz Orchestra (I have gigged with KYJO since I was 12), Kent Youth Symphonic Band, Tunbridge Wells Jazz Club Students' Band, West Kent Wind Band and West Kent Youth Orchestra. I am looking to join another rock and roll / covers band or a small Jazz/Funk ensemble based in Kent.

26.04.08 I'm getting a band together in Kent/Surrey/SE London and looking for a Sax player and vocalist (or even a sax playing vocalist). Bass, drums and guitar are lined up and ready to go. We will be playing a mix of blues, funk and 60's style soul - think SRV, James Brown, Sam and Dave all mixed in together. We will be doing this mainly for fun as we have day jobs and aren't looking to 'make it', but we all play to a good standard and want to be gigging a couple of times a month.
