IMPORTANT - YOU SHOULD READ THIS CAREFULLY - YOUR RIGHTS
The Consumer Credit Act 1974 covers this agreement and lays down certain requirements
for your protection which must be satisfied when the agreement is made. If they are not we
cannot enforce the agreement against you without a court order. If you would like to know more
about the protection and remedies under the Act, you should contact either your local Trading
Standards Office or your nearest Citizens Advice Bureau.

Ownership of goods
During the hire period the sax remains the property of Saxophones Ltd.
You must not sell or dispose of it.
Insurance & Responsibility.
The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage to the saxophone other than normal wear & tear.
In the event of theft any outstanding balance on the saxophone must be paid in full. Therefore,
we recommend you insure the saxophone. In most cases it can be added to a home contents
policy for very little cost.
Care of the sax
You must take reasonable care to ensure that the sax is secure, adequately maintained and not
liable to misuse. We must be notified immediately of any loss or damage.
Period of hire
You agree to hire the sax until the end of the hire period.
Payment
It is a condition of this hire agreement that authorisation is given for card payment. We will send
a reminder before the hire expires.. A receipt will be sent when any charge is made to your card.
If there are any problems we will make a prompt refund as necessary.
Return of the sax
It is your responsibility to return the sax & accessories safely so PLEASE KEEP ALL PACKAGING.
The sax MUST be returned BEFORE the renewal date otherwise another hire payment will be
charged.
Change in your details
sax.co.uk must be notified immediately of any change of address, phone number or payment
card details.
Cooling off period
You have a 7 day cooling off period from receipt of the sax during which you have the right to
return for a refund. This does not apply to products where there are hygiene issues such as
mouthpieces & reeds. The goods must be returned safely at the your cost, with their original
packaging, in brand new unused condition. We recommend that any returns are made by using
a national courier service and fully insured in case of loss or damage.
