"The horn delivers everything from a breathy sub tone to a screaming altissimo with no effort at all.....The response of the altissimo's is second to none." Read Andy Brush's review

PMXA-67R Custom Class Vintage Series Alto Sax (Vintage American Sound)

Features: Rolled tone holes, dark vintage lacquer, flared bell, abalone key touches, Super Jazz VI neck.
Fine engraving. Supplied with hard case, strap & basic mouthpiece. Nice metal ligature and cap that matches the saxophone finish.

Rolled Tone Holes: a feature of many of the vintage American saxes offer performers a noticeably quieter key action because the pads strike on a broader & rounder surface. The pads have seamless dome metal resonators which increase attack and projection.

"Like most companies, P.Mauriat boasts of having the "vintage" sound for which people search. Unlike most other companies, I believe they might have just found it." - USA Jazz Times

Wow...First, this is  by far the most beautiful sax I saw - abalone keys, vintage lacquer and beautiful hand engravings make this sax something to be respected before a note has been played And each note just...plays! There's so much warmth in the tone and so much character - this sax will suit all styles and all types of players. I tried Selmers, Yanagisawas, Yamaha Customs and even some Rampone Cazzari's but the 67R outdid them all! Fantastic service guys - I was expecting a few days till delivery cos I know how hard you work but it was in my hands just over a day later than I ordered it! Thanks so much for a great day trying saxes and amazingly fast delivery :D Hands down the greatest instrument sellers! Sax.co.uk - it really is the Saxophone temple!  Joe Atkin-Reeves
