Lightbulb Live Jazz Saxophone Performances on Blu-Ray (HD-1920p)
The only High Definition performance I found available in the market was that of Kenny G: An Evening of Rhythm Romance [Blu-ray] (2009).




As Kenny G is a very capable saxophonist but established better in the pop ( C chord) spectrum, I was wondering if we can have some other recommendations and market places (e-shops mostly) for High Definition Saxophone performances.

Now there's a bunch of saxes that really know what they are doing!

I couldn't find anything better on Blu-Ray Until you came.

Regarding the infraction for mentioning HIM!@#$%^ I wouldn't blame you.

But again your recommendation has little to do with either Sax or Jazz. So better to stay safe with Kenny G and when someone comes with a more solid recommendation then we change the Disc !!!.... Hahahahah

The Phonix horns that play with Chicago and EWF, consist mainly of saxophonists, and it's all funk music. To be honest, does it really have to HD? What's wrong with Brecker with Jaco, Pat, Joni etc? Best DVD I know, along with Herbie Hancock meets Herbie Hancock.

Scotty, I haven`t watched it to be honest. I would like it HD so I can watch at the fingerings while listening. This lifts my spirits and keeps me motivated!

Anyway, I will watch it together with the other DVDs that you recommend and come back with my impressions.
