Sax legend Bob Mintzer's first choice of saxophone. A serious heavyweight addition to our pro sax range, the 52nd Street Soprano captures a classic vintage sound – full bodied and free blowing – and combines this with wonderful ergonomics.

The 52nd Street saxophone is a professional instrument and comes un-lacquered for a truly vintage appearance. It is an exceptionally responsive horn in all registers from low to high, and produces a big, fat sound with precise intonation. A larger bell and rolled-style tone holes contribute to the sound qualities of this instrument that many compare to some of the great vintage horns of the past. Solid construction with comfortable hand position and extras such as adjustable palm keys.

Reviews:

"In-line with the alto and tenor, this 52nd Street soprano also shows the same characteristics of having that full-bodied and spread sound. For me it feels like they’ve captured that vintage element with the entire range, and for those players who have always enjoyed playing perhaps a Mark VI soprano, this model stacks up nicely in comparison. It also has a one piece design, which in my opinion adds to the completeness of the sound and the ease of playing it. A truly great instrument!" - Jim (sax.co.uk)
