Sax.co.uk Recommends

A Sax.co.uk favourite. A great choice for advancing & professional sax players

The Conn-Selmer 'Premiere' bronze PAS380 is a saxophone with a little extra pedigree - Conn & Selmer have been two of the most respected brands for over 100 years!

Description

One of our favourite brands here at Sax.co, the Conn-Selmer saxophones feature good design, excellent build quality and proven reliability across the range.

This 'Premiere' PAS380 has the refined design, build quality and tone more usually associated with more expensive 'professional' instruments. Key features are a newly designed neck allowing responsive airflow through the body and an ergonomic key design that keeps the hands closer to the body tube - this saxophone responds to your ideas faster!

The inclusion of a genuine Rousseau ebonite (hard rubber) mouthpiece is a really nice bonus.

Review

We've all been struck by how full, sweet and room filling the sound that comes out of this horn can be. The strong materials vibrate with pleasure under the fingers giving a nice free blowing experience with little resistance resulting in a round and beautiful sound. The whole thing is incredibly easy to control from top to bottom. To conclude, this saxophone reminds me some of the most popular vintage Selmer horns. A good build, a great sound for such an amazing value, I would definitely go for the sound......JC (Sax.co.uk)
