Very much a standard for the smooth jazz and funk crowd. These pieces
are unusual in that they have a small chamber but without a significant
degree of baffle- a very powerful, focussed tone but without the overly
bright edge that many pieces of this type. These pieces have quite an
unusual shape in the mouth- very small and narrow but once a player's
got used to this there's a quite unique playing response available here.
As used by Gerald Albright……

The Beechler Bellite mouthpiece is cast from the finest surgical steel.
The material is resistant to corrosion, breakage, or change in playing
characteristics due to environmental considerations. The hardness of
this metal provides an ultra fast response time to bring out the
brilliance of the overtone series. The Bellite Alto and Tenor feature a
medium high baffle and open chamber which supports a brilliant
contemporary sound as well as a subdued ballad sound. Ligatures and caps
are provided with all Beechler BELLITE models.
