The "Hawk II" offering is the first innovation for saxophone mouthpieces since the introduction of the "wedge" or "high baffle".

Radically new chambers are contoured for maximum projection, making this high-end Jazz mouthpiece husky, warm and very reed friendly. A mouthpiece for today's requirements.

Since the neck cork mutes vibrations, an "Enhancer" was devised that collects these muted vibrations into a mini echo-chamber.

With the "Enhancer" in place, the tone becomes intensely focused. This is an "add-on" that truly "Enhances" the sound.

A metal mouthpiece with flawless workmanship, evident in the beautiful thin side and tip rails and hand cut baffles. Machined from a solid bar of the finest virgin brass, meaning no seams! Beautifully plated with the finest 24kt, Hard Gold plating available. A very interesting feature is that the new Jody Jazz has a removable baffle with a 24kt Gold plated secondary reed which gives the mouthpiece more brilliance and projection.

The chamber is big and fat, and the sound is unusually full. Compared to many of the high baffle metal sax mouthpieces, the JodyJazz ESP will deliver a more round full sound with more bottom end without sacrificing high end or ease of playing.
