Our in-house baritone man Jules likes the BL4 a lot describing it as really smooth and even across the range, easy to control with a clean sound."This is a mouthpiece definitely aimed at the classical market. As a blues man I was initially sceptical about what I would have to say about this, but found it an absolute joy to play on. Whereas it lacked the attack and heavy bottom end that I'd normally look for in a mouthpiece for myself, it had a beautiful lightness and quick response that made for a very fluid, airy feel- the notes seemed to dance out of the sax. Its natural tone was smooth and crisp, with an obvious leaning toward the 'cello-like' sound favoured by classical players. A mouthpiece that really made me approach playing in a different & inspiring way."
