"My own weapon of choice for baritone. Mouthpieces which on an alto or a tenor would be hard-edged screamers come into their own on a baritone where a boost to the higher harmonics works well to fill out the tone. Quantums, either metal or plastic, give a huge, room filling sound with a lot of power and richness to it. In any context where upfront projection is needed - big band, R&B, rock, fusion etc- these work a treat. That odd little tongue of metal, the spoiler, has its uses - especially for studio recording- where a boost is needed for solos. Put it in the mouthpiece chamber for extra grit, volume and growl." - Jules@sax.co.uk
