Hand cut from top quality German ebonite to reproduce the tone & response of the much sought after vintage Meyer mouthpieces. Nice soft undertone with a massive amount of power when pushed. Enough to compete with most metal mouthpieces. The greatest dynamic range of any we've tested and our favourite ebonite model.The SR Alto Legend and L-85 mouthpieces are based on the design of classic "New York" mouthpieces. The "Legends" are identical except for tip opening. The Legend tip opening is .078 inches and the L-85 tip opening is .085inches. The Titan has a .076 inch lay with a slightly raised baffle for faster response & brighter sound. Complete with Rovner Ligature and Cap.
