SR Technogies ebonite "Europa" mouthpiece for tenor

This new ebonite model from SR Technologies of California should satisfy the needs of many tenor players. So often I hear comments like, ‘I’m looking for something with the sound of an Otto Link, but without the stuffiness and with a bit more projection’. Well I think that the Europa model does exactly that. The Europa model comes equipped with a Rovner cap and ligature.

SR Technologies Legend ebonite mouthpiece for tenor

Another classy addition to the SR Tech mouthpiece range. This is a good 'jazzers' mouthpiece with a medium baffle and fairly large chamber, offering a big and open lower register sound while retaining a nice centred semi-dark tone throughout the rest of the range. It is similar in tone and response to the Europa mouthpiece but with a little more emphasis on the bass frequencies around the lower end of the sax. The tip opening is set up at 106 thousandths of an inch (or 7*) which is fairly regular for most jazz tenor sax players' needs.
