24 Capricci Op. 1 created by Niccolo Paganini, one of the greatest violin virtuosos in music history and a musical genius, is a work that is unequalled in its brilliance and difficulty and has been performed countless times to date. Thanks to Raaf Hekkema's new arrangement of the Capricci for saxophone solo, even saxophonists can now 'fiddle like a devil'. Depending on the register, Hekkema arranged the Capricci for the advanced soprano or alto saxophone player and adapted them to the technical possibilities of the instrument.
