Some may be battered &
bruised, a little dented, lost some lacquer but there's still some good
tunes left in these horns. We cannot guarantee them but each one has been
put into fully playable condition by our technicians. We will be as
complete as we can in our descriptions with photos and details of good,
and not so good points. We are not experts on vintage saxes but have done
our best to include accurate information, including manufacturing dates
wherever possible. If you'd like to own a piece of saxophone history then
read on. "Like most companies, P.Mauriat boasts of having the "vintage" sound for which people search. Unlike most other companies, I believe they might have just found it." -Jazz Times "At last a new horn that sounds and feels really exceptional - just like a vintage Selmer Mk 6 but new and with a big booty sound - the weight is great as is the response - tuning is perfect and there is that woody/grainy thing in the sound that I've only previously found in my old Selmers ... fantastic !"
