The Chip - The microchip tag has a unique identity number. It is weather and impact resistant, and is easily fitted to a sax. (Fitting instructions are provided on a CD rom in the pack.) Once fitted it is virtually impossible to remove. This gives your sax a unique tamper proof identity! The microchip number can be read by means of a radio frequency scanner by the police and all authorised Musi-traC dealers.

National Register of Musical Instruments - Owners details are maintained on a secure National Register. Police and authorised Musi-traC dealers can verify the registered owner of a suspect instrument.
