AKG Acoustics - Clip on sax microphones
and wireless systems
This condenser clip-on microphone has been
designed specifically for wind instruments including
saxophone. A rubber coated clamp ensures easy attachment to
the bell of a horn and a 4.3-inch (110-mm) adjustable
gooseneck allows precise microphone alignment.
C 519 PP: For hardwire applications, with
standard XLR mic lead (not included). Use this model
to connect to your mixer/amplifier with a standard XLR mic
lead. Check your mixer has phantom powering, otherwise you
will need a B29 battery power pack.
C 519 ML: With mini XLR connector for use
with PT40 bodypack wireless transmitter (see below).
This is
the more popular version as it's intended for wireless use.

WMS40 Pro Instrumental Set Flexx. A
hard plastic carrying case containing the SR40 Flexx
diversity receiver and PT40 belt pack transmitter. Add
the C419L to make a complete wireless system.
* Three selectable UHF frequencies for interference-free
reception.
* Diversity: maximum transmission reliability even in
difficult environments. The system automatically selects the
antenna providing the best signal.
* Adjustable squelch
* Multi channel capability for simultaneous use of up to
nine channels (maximum number of channel depends on local
frequency plans).
* All-metal case
* High Definition Audio Performance technology ensures the
legendary, realistic AKG sound and perfect audio
transmission.
If you have an Akai EWI
wind synth
or anything else
with a jack socket the GB 40 bug is probably the the easiest
way to make it wireless. The Flex Jack swivel jack plug will
mate with any type of output jack and is spring loaded to
hold the GB 40 securely against the instrument. In addition,
the GB 40 is so small it is almost invisible and won't be in
your way while playing. Since the GB 40 sits right on top of
the instrument's output jack, the noiseless on/mute/off
switch and gain control are always within easy reach.
Integrated charging contacts allow you to charge the battery
quickly and easily on the optional CU 40 charging unit,
without having to remove the battery. To complete your
wireless system you will also need the SR40 Receiver.
SR40 Single Receiver

for use with SO 40 or GB 40 (above) * Single fixed
frequency
* All-metal case
* Multichannel capability for simultaneous use of up to
seven channels (maximum number of channel depends on local
frequency plans).
* High Definition Audio Performance technology ensures the
legendary, realistic AKG sound and perfect audio
transmission.
